Bilingual CWM Staffing Specialist

This is with a big bank. Location is Bedford Nova Scotia.
The Bilingual CWM Staffing Specialist will support EU division / EU contract hiring therefore the odd hours.
Can work remote from home 3-4 days / week.
This role is for a fully bilingual person, able to work M to F, from 4am to 1230pm AST (local time) in Bedford Nova Scotia.

What is the target salary/range? $35 to 53k
What is the work from home component? How often can they work remotely? 4 times a week and once a week they will have to come in the office for the team meetings and one on ones with the managers.
How much OT will be expected as the primary client base is in Ontario? They don’t have over time at this time; primary client will be Europe and thus the odd hours.

What is the opportunity?
As a Bilingual Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) Recruitment Operations Specialist, you will responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding activities for contingent labor for the Contingent Workforce Management Program. You will support Bank Managers of contingent labor resources in all aspects of a contractor’s assignment activities from off-boarding to on-boarding; inclusive of assignment amendments and extensions. You will communicate with Bank managers throughout resource assignment while also ensuring successful and timely completion of all assignment activities.

What will you do?
Assist hiring managers during all stages of the contractor acquisition process
Liaise with staffing vendors on a regular basis to ensure appropriate understanding of requirements and obtain all required Due Diligence documentation in a timely manner
Escalates non-compliant results, obtaining the appropriate exceptions prior to the contractor’s start date
Ensures new contract workers are accurately on-boarded in Beeline and run specific background checks as required and escalate non-compliant items as needed
Assist suppliers with Contractor Onboarding activities, including but not limited to background check and due diligence requirements and first day/first week onboarding activities
Assist hiring managers with Contractor Onboarding activities, including but not limited to provide guidance for requests of building and systems access, and first day/first week onboarding activities.
Ensures required background checks are completed and cleared prior to the contractor’s start date
Assisting and advising hiring managers throughout the assignment of assigned contractors

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Fluently bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken in a business setting
Availability to work between the hours of 4AM AST and 12:30PM AST – will support EU division / EU contract hiring.
Experience with MS Office Suite applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel)
High attention to detail and able to prioritize a high volume work load
Experience in recruitment or operations

Nice-to-have
Experience in a high volume, managed service provider, end to end recruitment environment
Previous IT recruitment experience
Previous financial industry experience
